Happy Anniversary and News!

I am a little behind on blogging (as always) considering our anniversary was August 21st, but Happy 6th Anniversary to us!  I have this picture hanging in our room and lately Russell has learned about weddings and marriage so he often looks at it and says, "You married Daddy? You're a princess?"    We love our sweet little boy and we're looking forward to having two little boys in our house after January 31st!  We are training Russell that his little brother is coming and he loves to talk about "my baby brother." Hopefuly he will still be excited in a few months. Backtracking to our anniversary...we got a babysitter and went downtown for dinner and just enjoyed walking around the city at night. I'm sentimental and always make Ricardo watch our wedding video with me on our anniversary, which we enjoyed over cheesecake. I dropped the ball on taking pictures while we were actually out at dinner, but here's our post-celebrating photo-op at ...

Summer Festivities

This summer has been sooo busy! Highlights after our Florida trip included: Trip to DC for our nephew's birthday and we got to meet our newest nephew (#4 for my sister) who was just one month old when we met him. Russell is obsessed with babies and had so much fun seeing him. No pictures from that trip, whoops! Camping Trip to the Poconos with our dental school friends. He did get pretty tired out from all the fun and fell asleep on our hike so poor Ricardo had to carry him for about an hour. He definitely got his workout in that weekend. We all took turns cooking meals for the group which made things pretty easy and we had fun playing games at night after the kids went to bed. The boys are already planning the next camping trip.   Soon after that camping trip I went to girls camp for a few days with the...

Florida Love

We had a wonderful trip to Florida, as always. Russell loved it even more than we thought he would. He did great on the plane and was very excited to be at the airport and see all the big planes.                                                                               As soon as we got to my parent's house and he saw the pool something clicked and he never wanted to get out of water the rest of our trip. Every morning he would wake up and ask to play in the water. Poor kid was a little disappointed to come home where pools aren't as accessible. The first full day of our trip Ricardo attended a dental conference near my parent's house. We went with him to the evening events and during the day we met up with some old friends for lunch-it's so fun that the lunch size has grown sin...
