Lots of happiness around here because the snow has melted and we have been enjoying spring for a few weeks!
Even Thomas is willing to be outside and that's saying something.
Someone lost their first tooth! It's so tiny, you can barely see it in his hand. Growing up is so bittersweet (for me at least).
The snow in our backyard took some time to melt-there was so much of it! Russell and Ricardo spent a lot of time digging up the remaining snow to help it melt faster. Already beating up his dad...
This little lady learned how to crawl and is now getting into everything. Also, within a few days of crawling decided to start trying to stand up on all the furniture she could. Trouble!
Planting a few things now that spring is here.
April Fool's with a kindergartener. "Mom, do you want a brownie (brown E)?"
For Russell's spring break we went to the Oregon coast for a few days. We were slightly worried the weather would be too cold and rainy but decided to chance it and we are so glad we did! The weather was totally fine and there were no crowds. It was a great little trip!
Stopping along the way to feed baby and do some exploring in Oregon.
Loved our cute little hotel in Cannon Beach. So quaint and there were dozens of adorable bunnies everywhere, which the kids loved chasing and feeding with grass.
Looking for bunnies...
Russell's self-portrait in sand.
Can you tell that Haystack rock is a famous landmark?
Cute little beach town
Caroline was a great little traveler and was happier than she appears in this photo.
On the first day at the beach, Thomas was filling up a bucket with water when a wave came and knocked him down. He got soaked with cold water and lost a rain boot. After that he didn't want to leave the safety of the rocks because the sand was too close to the ocean and he was terrified of a repeat incident. Hoping my Florida boy isn't permanently scarred!
Now, we are back to real life and looking forward to Easter. Caroline started eating food after resisting for about 2 months so we are happy about that! She loves to eat what we eat so I am often pureeing various things for her and she loves big flavors and spice. She is a doll and we just love her.
Trapped in a soccer goal by big brothers.
Ninjas are the thing of the moment.
With mobility comes lots of messes. She loves pulling things off shelves. But you can't be mad at that face.
These two are best buds-life is always better for Thomas when Russell comes home from school!

Brown E is the best joke ever! Very clever!
