Happy Halloween! This week has been our first cold weather of the year, which is quite a drastic change since we were recently swimming at the beach! We had a great end to our summer/start of fall.  At the end of August we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We took our anniversary trip in May but we did enjoy dinner/massages for our anniversary in August. I've got no photographic proof, but we had a great time! Ricardo worked late on my actual birthday, but nice friends took me out to breakfast and went to the pool with us in the afternoon. The babies loved the balloons. The weekend before my birthday Ricardo took us up to Jekyll Island GA and we went to a small water park they have there. It was perfect for our kids and the ages they're at. We've had a great summer! Russell's preschool teacher (and several others) asked where we went on vacation this summer. The answer is nowhere, we live in a vacation spot! We mostly spent our summer at the beach and the pool and we did enjoy a few short trips to visit our parents/siblings farther south. Russell turned 4! We had his party at the beach and we all enjoyed pizza/cupcakes/sand (for some it was mixed together).  I'm not good at taking pictures during parties so I didn't get much, but he had a blast, even though this picture doesn't look like it! This sugar-obsessed baby devoured his whole cupcake. Russell is obsessed with Moana and his great friend gave him this Maui hook for his birthday so we reenact the movie a lot.  Our church also had a talent show for kids this summer and the kids in his church class performed a dance to some Moana music.
