During the second week of May we had a bunch of family come stay with us for Ricardo's graduation/Thomas' baby blessing, which was a lot of fun. Prior to all of these festivities, I was spoiled for Mother's Day with delicious homemade breakfast and dinner, cheesecake, and handmade kitchen hot pads with my two little boys' hand and footprints. Ricardo is the best. It was quite surreal to be celebrating Ricardo's' graduation from dental school. I may or may not have teared up when the graduates walked in. This has been something we've been working for since we were first married, starting with studying for the DAT together, to all the applications and interviews, and then all the craziness of balancing school, work, and kids over the past 4 years of dental school.
