Fall Begins

We have been having a fun fall so far! I can't believe it is October already. We've even been having some summer-y weather linger a little longer, so we have definitely been enjoying the time to be outdoors. I don't know what I'm going to do with Russell when winter comes because he looves being outside all day. He continues to be a sweet boy with such a fun personality. He is learning a lot of words which is really fun for us. His favorite one is definitely "car" and he can spot a car or a picture of a car anywhere. He also loves saying animal sounds (baa, moo, sss for snake, etc). Dogs are his favorite animal though, probably because that's what he sees around most often.

Loving the sandbox at the park. He doesn't really get dirty because he very carefully shovels sand into his bucket over and over again.

When we do go inside, his activity of choice is definitely reading. I know this picture is blurry, but I just thought his lounging on the couch reading was so cute. I was making dinner and found him like this.

He is obsessed with Ricardo's truck and loves to run outside when he gets home so he can pretend to drive. I made him pretty mad yesterday when I didn't let him run up to a random black truck which was not his dad's.

Loves sitting on any kind of step.

Loves putting things on his head. I need to get him a real hat.

Is there anything cuter than that face?

We went to an orchard this past weekend and Russell had a blast picking and eating apples. He literally ate two whole apples. I was shocked he could actually bite into them with his tiny little teeth, but he loved it.

We met up with some friends later at the playground and Russell had fun riding this miniature horse.

Posing for the camera like a pro.

He loves kicking and throwing this little ball around. He is truly a little boy.

We are looking forward to more fun fall activities (after Ricardo's done with midterms). Life is good!
