...is New Jersey! On Saturday we went with some ward/dental school friends to see the Battleship New Jersey, which turns out to be the most decorated battleship in U.S. history. It usually costs $20/person to see it, but Saturday was National Museum Day, so we were able to get tickets online and go for free thanks to tips from our informed friends. This free outing almost turned into a really expensive outing when I left the free tickets at home, but luckily the guy in the ticket booth was sympathetic and redeemed out tickets via proof of the email on my phone. Gotta love modern technology.
Here are Ricardo and I getting ready to board the ship. It was a lot colder than I was expecting! I suppose I will soon have to retire my flip flops for awhile.
Ricardo overlooking the Benjamin Franklin bridge, which connects Philadelphia to Camden, NJ-home of Rutgers University and apparently a very dangerous town- it was super quiet while we were there
Me and Alisha, the mastermind of our fun activity. Her son Nathan is possibly the quietest baby I've ever seen. Ricardo keeps asking me how we can get a baby like him.
Ricardo enjoyed his study break for the day.
Philadelphia!
How was YOUR weekend?

Trying out the sailors' bunk beds. Funny how Ricardo ended up with the purse. Maybe why he looks so sad.
